The Parade was founded by Jim Logue, Scott Mahoney and Hugh Connelly in 2004. They thought that Burlington County need an annual celebration of Irish Heritage and Culture and initially set out to start an annual party. To prepare for this they decided to annual the Hamilton Parade and After Party and quickly changed their minds after seeing their parade and in 2005 the first Burlington County St. Patrick’s parade marched down High Street in Mount Holly and has been ever since.
The parade is held annually on the First Saturday in March and is the largest Irish event in Southwestern New Jersey. The parade is organized by the Burlington County St. Patrick’s Parade Committee, an non-profit organization dedicated to keeping our Irish and Celtic Heritage alive and well for generations to come.
